AMBER ABSOLUTE

Amber Absolute oil is extracted from the fossilized resin of Pinus succinefera. The crude essential oil is obtained by dry distillation of the fossil resin. It has a deep velvety fragrance and is extracted by solvent extraction of the resin. Amber has had various names down the centuries, which includes, ‘Sunstone’, ‘Stone of victory’, ‘Adornment of the daughters of Rome’, and ‘Gold of the North. Amber as an ingredient is popular in many modern-day perfumes. Amber absolute oil is a calmative, analgesic, antispasmodic, expectorant, a febrifuge and it encourages harmony and balance.
