Kumbakonam Degree Coffee

The story goes that, in the 19th century, a British Collector of Thanjavur District liked the coffee served by a local cook in Kumbakonam and he ordered that coffee served to him on all his travels should be exactly like that! This south indian beverage is made from pure coffee beans with no addition of chicory and has become the most famous type of coffee beverage to thrive through several centuries.
