Betel Leaf Oil

Betel leaf oil is extracted by steam distillation from betel leaves that belongs to the family of Piperaceae family. It is native to Southeast Asia mainly in India. It is famous as, ‘paan’ leaves in India. Besides being used for its mouth refreshing qualities, it has been used in Ayurveda to treat various medial issues. It is rich in vitamins and mineral and has been recognized by ancient Indian medicine. Betel leaves have also been used as a mouth-fresheners to treat bad bread and make teeth and gums strong.
