Surah Al-Kafirun Recitation With English Translation

Surah Al-Kafirun stands as one of the most explicit affirmations of pure Tawhid in the Qur'an. It was revealed when prominent members of the Quraysh approached the Prophet (peace be upon him) with what they believed to be a reasonable compromise. They suggested that both parties should take turns worshipping each other's deities, arguing that if either belief system proved true, all would benefit. In another account, they even proposed that if the Prophet (peace be upon him) showed any acknowledgment of their idols, they would accept his message.
